Ranakpur/KumbhalgarhRanakpur : Ranakpur is situated between the mountains of Pali and nearly thirty nine kilometers from Phalna which is in Rajasthan. It is one of the famous places of Rajasthan which was given the name after Rana Kumbha. He was the person who gave idea of having Jain Temple to Dharna Sah a Jain businessman. Therefore this place is rich in Jain temples.

Kumbhalgarh : Kumbhalgarh is located just 85 km away from Udaipur, Kumbhalgarh is said to be one of the prominent forts of Rajasthan. Situated in the northwestern regions of Rajasthan this place is known to be surrounded by 13 peaks of the Aravali hills. You will truly find solace and solitude because of all the beautiful landscapes and the other scenery present here. The fact of this place is that it was known to be used by the Mewar rulers for their shelter and accommodation during the times of danger.

Ranakpur Jain Temples, Kumbhalgarh :-
Located at a distance of 50 Kms from Kumbhalgarh, Ranakpur Jain Temples are the most important place in Kumbhalgarh region. The place houses the very famous temple named as The Chaumukha Temple which is dedicated to Tirthankara Adinath.

Badal Mahal, Kumbhalgarh :-
Widely known as the Palace of Clouds, The Badal Mahal is located at the peak of the Kumbhalgarh Fort. This wonderful construction is divided into two unified parts, named as the Zanana Mahal and the Mardana Mahal.

Kumbhalgarh Wildlife Sanctuary :-
The Kumbhalgarh Wildlife Sanctuary surrounds the Kumbhalgarh Fort and spans an area of 586 sq km. It is situated across the Aravalli range and derived its name from the Fort. Parts of Udaipur, Rajsamand and Pali districts are covered by this sanctuary.

The sanctuary houses many wildlife species like chausinga or four-horned antelope, panther, wild boar, wolf, sloth bear, jackal, sambar, chinkara, leopards, hyena, jungle cat, nilgai and hare. It is considered to be Rajasthan’s only sanctuary that houses a variety of wolves and tourists can observe the activities of the rarely found wolf at this place.

It is also the home to various birds like flamingos, spoonbills, cormorants, egrets, grey jungle fowl, doves, peacocks, parakeets, grey pigeons, golden oriole and white breasted kingfisher. The flora of this sanctuary consists of various plants and trees having herbal qualities.

Neelkanth Mahadeo Temple, Kumbhalgarh :-
The Temple is situated close to the plains and is devoted to Lord Shiva. The temple houses a stone Shivlinga that is believed to be six feet in height.

By Air :- The nearest Domestic Airport from Kumbhalgarh is Udaipur Airport, roughly two hour drive from Kumbhalgarh. Connecting flights to Delhi, Mumbai and Jaipur can be taken from here. The nearest International Airport is Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International Airport, Ahmedabad, roughly five hour drive from Kumbhalgarh.

By Train :- Falna Railway Station is the nearest Railway station situated at a distance of 84 Kms from Kumbhalgarh and is well connected to many major cities.

By Bus :- Kumbhalgarh is 48 Kms from Rajsamand, 51 Kms from Nathdwara, 60 Kms from Sadri, 105 Kms from Udaipur, 157 Kms from Bhilwara, 160 Kms from Beawar, 207 Kms from Jodhpur, 213 Kms from Ajmer, 345 Kms from Jaipur, and is connected through Rajasthan State Road Transport Corporation (RSRTC) and some private travel services.
